Ally Sheedy Bio
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in America. Her film debut was in Bad Boys (1983). She then was a part of the Brat Pack and went into the role of WarGames The Breakfast Club as well as Short Circuit. Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Sheedy got married to David Lansbury on April 12, 1992. The actor was the father of Edgar Lansbury who produced Godspell and the nephew of Angela Lansbury. Beckett (born at the age of 14 in the year 1994) is the son of the couple. Sheedy claims to have learnt a lot from Beckett's journey. Alexandra Elizabeth Ally Sheedy, born June 13th, 1962 in New York City is an American stage and film actor. She is also the author of two books. Most famous is her role as Bratpack's The Breakfast Club. The Breakfast Club is the name of a John Hughes-directed film. The "Breakfast Club" title is an abbreviation in some schools for the term detention. Students would arrive for detention at a time that was early in the morning most likely at breakfast time. They are the Next Generation. Sheedy has added "teacher" on her long list of accomplishments. Sheedy is a teacher of acting in New York City at City College.
